Terms of Sale

1. Seller identity

ADLR (ART DE LA RENOVATION), a company with a share capital of EUR 1,000, registered in France, SIRET 992 255 612 00010, contact@art-de-la-renovation.fr, www.art-de-la-renovation.fr (“the Seller”).

2. Products

The Seller sells restoration guides and manuals for classic vehicles as well as companion works (tips, maintenance logbooks), available depending on the product:

• in digital format (PDF), delivered by download link;
• in paper format, shipped;
• as a paper + PDF kit combining both.

Also offered: a Delivery Insurance (optional service: free replacement of lost or damaged parcels, priority order processing and a EUR 10 gift card) and gift cards in the form of single-use discount codes, valid on the shop, non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash.

The guides reflect the experience and research of their authors. They constitute neither professional advice nor individualised guidance; their content is applied under the Client's sole responsibility, in compliance with safety rules.

3. Prices

Prices are displayed in euros, all taxes included, and include standard delivery costs for paper formats. Depending on your country, the amount may be shown in your local currency at checkout. The Seller may change its prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order.

4. Order and payment

Payment is made online, in full at the time of the order, through the secure Stripe platform (TLS encryption, 3-D Secure authentication where applicable): bank card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods shown at checkout. No banking data is collected or stored by the Seller. The order is confirmed by email once payment has been received.

5. Delivery

Digital products: made available immediately after payment, via a personal download link sent by email and shown on the confirmation page (link valid for 30 days, 5 downloads; the downloaded file remains the Client's to keep).

Paper products: shipped within 48 working hours, indicative delivery within 5 working days. Areas served: all European Union countries, Monaco, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. The Client is solely responsible for the accuracy of the address provided.

6. Right of withdrawal

Paper products: in accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Client has 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason. The product must be returned in good condition, at the Client's expense, to the return address provided on request at contact@art-de-la-renovation.fr. Refund (product + standard delivery) within 14 days of receipt of the return, using the original payment method.

Digital content: by confirming an order for a digital product, the Client expressly requests its immediate delivery and waives the right of withdrawal as soon as the download begins, in accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code.

Commercial guarantee, “90-day money-back”: independently of the above, the Seller offers the Client the possibility of requesting a full refund of the order for 90 days from the purchase, by simple email to contact@art-de-la-renovation.fr, without justification. This commercial guarantee is in addition to the legal warranties and does not replace them.

7. Legal warranties

The Client benefits from the legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). In the event of a defect (unreadable file, book damaged on receipt, etc.), the Seller replaces or refunds the product as soon as possible and at the latest within 15 days.

8. Intellectual property

The guides are protected by copyright. Purchase grants a strictly personal right of use. Any reproduction, distribution, resale or sharing of the files, in any form whatsoever, is prohibited.

9. Referral programme

Each client may have a personal referral link entitling them to a commission on the first purchase made by the clients they bring in, under the conditions communicated by the Seller. Self-referral is excluded. Commissions are paid by the Seller upon supporting documentation.

10. Personal data

The Client's data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The Client has rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction, and may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

11. Disputes and mediation

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. Before any legal action, the parties will seek an amicable solution in good faith (written complaint to contact@art-de-la-renovation.fr). The Client may use, free of charge, the FEVAD e-commerce mediator (Médiateur de la consommation FEVAD, BP 20015, 75362 Paris Cedex 8, www.mediateurfevad.fr) or the European online dispute resolution platform: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/.
